Organization, space and time are of great virtue. I know that I must create a schedule for this class and abide by the schedule in order to get my writing assignment complete. This will be a task because writing is not one of my strengths.
The virtual world is what’s happening in technology today. My son would be proud to know that I know something other than typing on the computer. After Thursday’s class, I have decided to purchase a Wii Game Console. My son would be ecstatic to know that his mom is using updated technology when she does not know how to work some of the features on her cell phone.
You are right on target about your son. This type techonogoty has the potential to engage manh students who up to now have cared little about school. Too long have we in education have forced students to adapt to what has been the norm in education instead of us changing to meet the needs of students.
Tell Li'l M. that I will be happy to play Wii with him since you will be working on all this writing. You are depressing me with all this talk of work. Just do as you have been. Break it down, work on one assignment at a time. Stay well ahead of due dates. (You know you are very good at that.) Then come November we can celebrate Big M.'s 40th!
You're entering new space with gusto. And you're absolutely right about the disciplines of writing...making a time/space for it in your life will really make a difference.
Connie, I, too, am excited about the Virtual thing.I hope to have time to explore it with all of the other things I have to do. Sometimes I think I'm too old for this. Maybe I can create a schedule and live by it. I struggle a lot in that area.

This is very exciting for all of us.
